Wood is a product of nature containing variations in graining, tone and color. Slight variations are to be expected due to these factors, and should be considered as normal.
Shipping & Delivery
Most orders (pending stock) are processed and ready for shipment within 24-48 hrs. Reliable third party carriers will pick up the order from either from us, or sometimes directly from our vendor’s facility. Once the carrier has taken possession of the order, you will be notified to make arrangements for delivery. Shipping could take up to 14 days for delivery depending on your geographic location.Typically, all deliveries are considered “curb side”, which is accessible by any vehicle. In some areas where the freight company cannot deliver, the purchaser may be required to pick up goods at the local terminal. Any negotiations or subcontracted deliveries are solely between the purchaser and the carrier and not FMH Flooring. Generally, the freight company is not responsible for carrying products into the homes, up stairs, or any other handling in abnormal conditions. The carrier will typically unload each carton individually to individuals on the ground but is not necessarily required to do so. Any additional services, including a lift gate, are the sole financial responsibility of purchaser and not FMH Flooring. Any special services desired needs to be arranged by purchaser prior to delivery and should not be generally expected by the carrier or FMH Flooring.All delivers will require on-site acceptance with signature and must be inspected and counted upon arrival. Any visual damages or shortages must be noted on bill of lading and brought to the driver’s attention. It is not unusual to see slight or minor damage to cartons in the shipping process and should not be considered damage to the merchandise. Minimal damaged pieces should be useable in most situations. The customer should take this into consideration and apply those pieces to places to be trimmed back and utilized accordingly. If product is unusable than any carton or other item must be noted individually. Failure to do this will not allow us to file a claim with the freight carrier and you will be responsible for additional goods. Damaged material (once inspected) that occurred during shipment becomes property of the freight company; therefore no material should be discarded. Any complaints on defects after the installation will not be honored.

The purchaser will be responsible for cancellation fees, restocking fees, and all applicable freight cost upon cancellation if goods have been shipped or already in route to your location. If we are notified in timely manner, it may be possible to cancel the order before shipment proceedes, and all fees may be avoided.

How do we protect your information?
We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information when you place an order or access your personal information.
We offer the use of a secure server. All supplied sensitive/credit information is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and then encrypted into our Payment gateway providers database only to be accessible by those authorized with special access rights to such systems, and are required to keep the information confidential.
Your private information (credit cards, etc.) will only be kept on file throughout the transaction process and wil discarded shortly there after.

Returns & Replacements
Requests for returns must be made within 10 days of receipt of the product. Approved returns are subject to a 20% restocking fee with the exception of moldings and trim. Special orders are not returnable unless the product is defective. All returns must be pre-authorized and a cancellation or RMA form has to be completed and returned with items. The RMA form will contain an approval number and will be issued (pending approval) by our sales department. Completion of this procedure is mandatory before any returns or credits can be issued. Any returned goods without pre approval and a RMA# will be refused and purchaser will be liable for additional freight.Returns or exchanges are not permitted on opened boxes, close-outs, odd lots, final sales, special deals, special orders, clearance items and laminates. To be eligible for a return or exchange, the product must be in its original condition and have been properly stored. Products that have been installed are considered accepted by purchaser and may not be exchanged or returned for any reason. Shipping and delivery charges are non-refundable. Any additional shipping costs relating to a return or exchange are the sole responsibility of purchaser.
Ordering
An order submitted via shopping cart or verbally with a customer representative becomes a contract and the purchaser is legally responsible for all charges once an order confirmation is given. Bill of Ladings should correspond with the descriptions provided by the invoice. All flooring is sold by product code or SKU#, not by lot numbers. Please read your invoice carefully. In the event of an error on the invoice, it is up to the customer to notify FMH Flooring immediately. Once an order has been processed, any cancellation fees, returned shipping charges, or costs necessary to correct the order may be the liability of the customer. Products shipped incorrectly will be given a full refund as long as the return meets all requirements stated in the return policy. Refunds will be issued within 15 days upon inspection of returned material.
Payment, Pricing & Promotions
All payments will be processed upon shipment utilizing the customer’s credit card account with MasterCard, Visa, or Discover, whether placed verbally with a customer service representative or online by shopping cart. No signature is required for legal obligation for orders. A copy of the invoice will be emailed or faxed to you promptly. All orders are forwarded to the providing warehouse by 3pm of the corresponding business day. Close outs, specials, odd lots, and off goods are sold “as is” without warranties and cannot be returned. Special orders are not returnable unless the product is defective.
Sales Tax:
Seller’s prices do not include sales tax, use tax or excise or other similar taxes. Consequently, in addition to the price specified herein, Buyer will pay the amount of any present or future such tax due as required by local, regional or national jurisdiction, unless Buyer, at the time of sale, provides Seller with all tax-exemption certificates required by taxing authorities.

Seller will add the appropriate sales tax associated with the physical location and jurisdiction of its place of business to each sale in that same jurisdiction.
